Trincomalee

Trincomalee is on Sri Lanka's east coast, and its Nilavelli beach serves as the starting point for most dives in the area and among the Best Dive Spots in Sri Lanka. Pigeon Island Marine Life Sanctuary lies a few kilometers off the coast, surrounded by coral reefs teeming with colorful fish, anemones, nudibranchs, and other sea creatures.

Trincomalee offers some of the best diving in the country. Divers may have a unique experience at a variety of diving spots throughout the region. You can also check out the shipwreck Irakkandy, which is close to the coast, to give your dive a boost.
