Knossos

On the largest Greek island of Crete, there is an old civilization called “Minoa” on Crete. The ancient palace of Knossos began construction about 4,700 years ago. There are about 1,300 rooms, connected by many corridors. This place is about 6 acres, includes a theater, four main entrances for four sides, and many warehouses for olive oil, dried fish, beans, etc. Knossos Palace is a multi-story building with over a thousand different beautiful rooms.

According to the traces found in this area of Knossos, archaeologists found that in the ancient Minoan society, women were respected, and a society that did not focus on the military.
