Komerční Banka
Komerční Banka, also known as KB, is one of the largest and most established banks in the Czech Republic. The bank was founded in 1990, after the Velvet Revolution, which brought an end to Communist rule in the country. The bank is currently a part of the French conglomerate Société Générale. It is the primary organization of the KB Group and runs the Modrá Pyramida Building Society, KB Penzijn Spolenost, Komern Pojiovna, as well as other businesses with a focus on investing, factoring, leasing, and consumer loans.
Since its inception, Komerční Banka has grown to become a leading provider of financial products and services in the Czech Republic, serving individuals, small and medium-sized businesses, and large corporations. The bank offers a range of services, including personal and business banking, loans, mortgages, credit cards, insurance, and wealth management. According to the report in 2022, it ranked as the third-largest bank in the Czech in terms of total assets with CZK 1,304 billion. The most recent financial report from KB shows that the company revenue in 2022 is CZK 2.9 billion, a 28.2% increase compared to the previous year.
