Krystal
Krystal's first role was in More Charming by the Day, a long-running Korean sitcom. For the role, she received the Newcomer Comedy Award at the 2010 MBC Entertainment Awards. She was then cast in the third season of the sitcom High Kick. Her breakthrough in acting came when she appeared in the SBS teen drama The Heirs. At the 2013 DramaFever Awards, she and Kang Min-hyuk of CNBLUE were named Best Onscreen Couple for their performances. Her breakthrough performance came in the SBS drama My Lovely Girl. At the Baeksang Arts Awards, she received the Most Popular Actress Award in the television category.
She took several years to complete a Chinese film and drama. However, in 2017, she starred in Bridge of the Water God, a tvN drama based on a Korean webtoon. She also appeared in the Korean drama Prison Playbook the same year. She was cast as the female lead in the crime action drama Player a year later, where she did her own stunts. She was cast in the OCN military cinematic drama Search after appearing in two more Korean films. Her next Korean drama role will be as the main lead in Crazy Love in 2022.
