Visitors are intrigued and drawn to the moniker Lak Lake as they want to discover its untamed beauty. Elephant riding adventures and wooden boat rides on Lak Lake, in addition to the area's natural beauty and fresh air, have made it a must-visit location for trips to the Highlands and Dak Lak.
Lak Lake is a stunning Highlands location. In addition to being a large freshwater reservoir that supplies water to hundreds of hectares of rice crops and serves as a fishery, Lak Lake also serves to chill the local climate. This lake is naturally occurring and is deeper than T'nng Lake (Gia Lai province). Indigenous people in this area also recount mythology that claims this lake has no bottom or that Lak Lake connects to T'nng Lake. Lak Lake, which borders the Krong Ana River, has a 5 km width. The lake's water is always deep and blue, its waters are peaceful due to the steep mountains surrounding it, and it has enormous ancient forests with an abundance of flora and wildlife.
