Thang Hen Lake
The next position on the list of the most beautiful lakes in Vietnam is Thang Hen lake, situated in the Tra Linh district, Cao Bang province's Quoc Toan commune. It is located at a height of a few thousand meters above sea level. Among the 36 major and small lakes in Tra Linh district's hilly region, Thang Lake is one of great beauty. The well-known Ban Gioc waterfall is accessible from Cao Bang city through one route.
Located in the midst of a mountainous area, with blue trees extending over cliffs. Particularly glistening down the troughs of the reef, snaking down the pristine sea. Thang Hen Lake is shaped like a diamond. has a length of 500 to 1,000 meters and a breadth of 100 to 300 meters.
A sizable cave serves as the source's head, and water continuously flows out of the cave day and night. Particularly intriguing is the claim that every ten years, the lake's water level abruptly drops to virtually nothing before rising again a few days later. The fact that Thang Hen Lake's water maintains its distinctive jade green hue throughout the flood season while other lakes turn red is also striking. If you can also visit Thang Hen lake, your excursions to the Ban Gioc waterfalls will be more interesting.
