Les Nuits Atypiques

Les Nuits Atypique takes place in Mighoma during the last week of August every year. It features vocal performances, classical and modern instruments, ceremonies, and a variety of other sound presentations from the Nyanga region.

Its goal is to promote cultural diversity by exposing "global music," with the task of discovering otherness, recognizing differences, opposing racism and intolerance, and increasing citizen awareness. Debates and film screenings are also held on a wide range of topics such as third World debt, peasant agriculture, human rights, cultural differences, the commodification of the world, fair trade, globalization financial, etc. Thus, Les Nuits Atypiques is one of the most famous festivals in Gabon.
