Little Andaman Island – The Most Stunning Islands In India
Little Andaman Island is a unique destination in the Andaman Islands. This island, located in the Southern Andaman district, is a haven for nature lovers from all over the world. It is one of the few places on the planet that creates a space so surreal that you will fall in love with it almost immediately. Despite being named Little Andaman, the island is not as small as the name implies; rather, it is the fourth largest of the Andaman Islands. It is also the home of the Onge tribe. A striking contrast to the city-based beaches, its shoreline is a gateway to a tropical paradise.
White Surf Waterfall, a cascading milky white sheet of water about 65 kilometres from Hut Bay Jetty, lies amid the evergreen rainforest and is an ideal picnic spot. Another waterfall, Whisper Wave, is about 25 kilometres from the Hutbay Jetty, and a trip here includes a trek through the beautiful biodiversity of Andaman's rainforests. You can either take a boat tour through the island creeks or go on an elephant safari. This island is slowly gaining recognition as a surfer's paradise, and there are small resorts with surf camps that rent out equipment near Butler Bay Beach, which has ideal surfing waves. It is a low-lying island with rainforest and a rare species of marine turtle.
