Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE) was founded in 1953 as a Manipal University and is currently known as Manipal University (MAHE) (MAHE). The University Grants Commission has approved it as a Deemed-to-be University (UGC). The National Assessment and Accreditation Council has granted accreditation to Manipal University (NAAC). MAHE has a campus that spans 648 acres. The institution provides 80 undergraduate and postgraduate programs in a variety of fields. For PG courses, students who have scored 70 percent in UG in 1st year would be eligible for Scholar Scholarship, whereas students who have obtained 65 percent marks in a mark system or a minimum yearly CGPA of 8.0 in a 10 point grading system will be eligible for Achiever Scholarship. Students who get these scholarships will receive a fee remission of 20%.
