Master's Sun (2013)

Master's Sun is a South Korean television series that premiered in 2013 and starred So Ji-sub and Gong Hyo-jin. The Hong sisters wrote the horror-romantic comedy, which aired on SBS from August 7 to October 3, 2013, on Wednesdays and Thursdays at 21:55 for 17 episodes.

Master's Sun is frequently lauded as one of the most romantic K-dramas, and it is frequently referred to as a 'hor-rom-com' (horror romantic comedy). Gong-Shil (Gong Hyo-Jin) is a lady who obtains the power to see ghosts as a result of a strange accident. Traumatized by the curse, she seeks refuge in Joong-Won (So Ji-Sub), the affluent, gorgeous CEO of a corporation in which the ghosts vanish. While it appears to be a simple love tale, Joong-Won remains with Gong-Shil for his own reasons, hoping to meet the spirit of his deceased ex-girlfriend. The rest of the novel is about how the two characters deal with their difficult relationship.
