Medea
In "Medea," Medea is married to Jason (played by Giuseppe Gentile), the leader of the Argonauts and a hero of Greek mythology. However, their marriage is thrown into turmoil when Jason decides to leave Medea and marry the daughter of the King of Corinth.

Drawing upon her supernatural abilities, she hatches a plan that involves treachery, manipulation, and ultimately, a devastating act of violence. Medea's revenge unfolds with tragic consequences, leading to the destruction of those she holds responsible for her pain.
Maria Callas delivers a powerful performance as the complex and vengeful Medea. Aided by the film's signature blend of realism and poetic imagery, Callas delivers a haunting and unflinching depiction of violence and the dark side of human nature, capturing the timeless themes and moral dilemmas that have resonated with audiences for centuries.
