Merck & Co., Inc., often known as Merck Sharp & Dohme (MSD), is a multinational pharmaceutical business based in Kenilworth, New Jersey. The Merck family formed the Merck Group in Germany in 1668, and the corporation is named after them. In 1891, Merck & Co. established a branch in the United States.

In 2020, the business had six medications with revenues of more than one billion dollars each: Keytruda (pembrolizumab) is a cloned antibody used in cancer immunotherapy.
