Miss Anna Bhan
Miss Anna Bhan is a renowned consultant ophthalmologist on London's Harley Street who specializes in cataract and glaucoma surgery.
Miss Bhan earned her medical degree from the University of Manchester in 1993. She went on to specialize in ophthalmology and was admitted to the Royal College of Ophthalmologists' specialist registration in 2005.
Her clinical experience includes glaucoma fellowships with Mr Eammon O'Neill and Professor Peter Shah in Birmingham, as well as a neuro-ophthalmology fellowship with Mr Mike Burdon.
Miss Bhan has worked as an investigator on both university and industry-sponsored projects, as well as establishing her own research. She has over 30 peer-reviewed publications, a BMJ book, and 26 congress posters to her credit. She has delivered over 15 oral presentations on a national and international scale.
Miss Bhan was one of the first glaucoma consultants to test novel simulated glaucoma surgery models, and she is currently the North West London Regional Simulation Lead.
