Mr Danny Mitry

Mr. Danny Mitry is a well-known consultant ophthalmic surgeon in London. In London, he sees patients at The London Clinic, BMI The Cavell Hospital, St John & St Elizabeth Hospital, and the Royal Free NHS Foundation Trust. Laser therapy, microincision cataract surgery, and medical and surgical retinal illness are among his clinical interests. Mr. Mitry specializes in the treatment of cataracts, dry eyes, trauma, retinal detachment, blepharitis, retinal vascular disease, diabetic eye disease, and macular degeneration.

Mr Danny Mitry has conducted over 4,000 procedures with remarkable success and patient satisfaction. Mr Mitry earned an honours degree in medicine and surgery from Trinity College Dublin in 2005. In Dublin, he began his clinical studies at the Ear Hospital and the Royal Victoria Eye. Following that, he relocated to Scotland to pursue a PhD at the University of Edinburgh. Mr Mitry finished his advanced surgical training in London and was hired as a vitreoretinal fellow at Moorfields Eye Hospital, where he became a specialist in surgical retinal disease management.

He has received numerous large research funds to support his academic study, has been an invited speaker at international ophthalmology conferences, and has received several research honors for his work. Mr Mitry is still involved in the surgical training of junior trainees. Mr Mitry has over 40 peer-reviewed publications published in top international ophthalmic journals.
