Mizuno
Mizuno Corporation is a Japanese sports equipment and sportswear company founded in Osaka in 1906 by Rihachi Mizuno. Today Mizuno is a global company that produces a wide range of sports equipment and sportswear for golf, tennis, baseball, volleyball, soccer, running, rugby, skiing, swimming, cycling, judo, table tennis, badminton, boxing and track and field. Mizuno was established in 1906 as the Mizuno Brothers Co., Ltd. Rihachi Mizuno and his younger brother Rizzo from Osaka. The store started selling custom sportswear in 1907 after selling western-style errands, including baseballs.
Mizuno is a manufacturer of golf clubs and accessories, and their Grain Flow Forged irons are used by professional golfers. Tiger Woods played with Mizuno Golf Clubs until turning pro in 1996, leaving Mizuno to Titleist in 1997 to win his first Masters Tournament. Other players have used Mizuno equipment during their careers.
