Monge Waterfalls
Monge Falls is a waterfall in the municipality of Rauma, Møre og Romsdal County, Norway. It is the fourth tallest single drop waterfall in the world. It is close to the European route E136 and the Rauma River through which it flows. Although there is some debate about their height, they are generally 773 meters (2,536 feet). As is the case with many Norwegian waterfalls, they are designed for hydroelectric power, which significantly reduces water flow during the summer tourism season.
Mongefossen also holds the distinction as being the highest waterfall in the world which may be viewed from a railway station on the Rauma Line, on the north side between the villages of Flatmark and Marstein. The Monge waterfall is another amazing tourist point in the world. This is situated in Rauma Municipality of Norway, near the Rauma River and the European road E 136 highway. It is also famous as Mongefossen. The estimated height of this waterfall is 773 meters. It is known as one of the most attractive tourist attractions. You can see it from the nearest train station.
