Tugela Falls
Tugela Falls is a complex of seasonal waterfalls located in the Dragon Mountains of Royal Natal National Park, KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa. Now re-verified and recognized as the world's tallest waterfall, it's not the Venezuelan Angel Falls, it's the tallest waterfall in the world.
The combined total drop height of 5 individual free jumps is officially 948 m (3110 ft). However, in 2016 a Czech scientific expedition made new measurements, making the waterfall 983 meters high. The data was sent to the World Waterfall database for verification. The source of the Tuguela River (Zulu "sudden") is the Mongosos plateau, which stretches for several kilometers beyond the cliffs of the amphitheater where the waterfalls fall.
