Nautholsvik Beach is one of Iceland's most popular sandy beaches, located in the capital city of Reykjavik. The most amazing aspect of this beach is that it is a thermal beach, meaning that it is heated by water that flows straight into the bay. Nauthólsvk Geothermal Beach is a wonderland for those who enjoy swimming in the sea or sunbathing on the golden beach. The beach has showers, steam baths, hot tubs as well as changing facilities. Hot water is piped into the man-made lagoon, creating a cool swimming area with temperatures ranging from 15° to 19° C in the summer. So, without hesitation, take a plunge in the pool because the water is warm enough to enjoy swimming and bathing.


This beach also features two freshwater pools and public services, making it ideal for families. Surfing, however, is not permitted on the beach for safety reasons.
