No Man's Land

Conrad gets himself in a predicament where he is mimicking another soldier on front lines after disregarding his family's wishes and going to war. Conrad returns the guy to the trenches at considerable personal danger after being dispatched into The No Man's Land to recover information from a fallen runner. Conrad is compelled to fraudulently identify himself after successfully providing the information, which results in his being misidentified as a spy and being executed by a fellow veteran.

The quiet knife battle in "No Man's Land" later in “The King's Man'' is practically the opposite of the Rasputin battle and pretty much everything else in the series. While there is still plenty of hard-hitting action and fantastic battle choreography, Conrad Oxford (by Harris Dickinson), along with his comrade troops, faces a bunch of Germans in complete stillness throughout the night.

This scenario more than compensates for its absence of showy melodrama using some of the greatest, most savage and furious combat we've seen to date, all executed with blades, clubs, axes, and a slew of fists. The almost quiet combat is a refreshing change for the series, allowing the action to speak for itself. Even if what occurs immediately thereafter is traumatic, we may still appreciate this epic saga.
