The Pub Fight
Early in Kingsman: The Secret Service, the character Harry Hart (by Colin Firth) joins Gary "Eggsy" Unwin (Taron Egerton) at a bar and discloses to him the sacrifice made by Eggsy's father years ago before discussing the young Unwin's bad life choices. Before the debate could continue, a bunch of street hooligans stormed the bar, only to be handled by Harry, who demonstrates that he is more than a guy in a good suit with a golden spoon up his "arse." What follows is the pub fight sequence in which Harry uses his punches, his umbrellas, and his opponents' own movement against them to take down six street rats.
This fast-paced show of complete destruction is amplified by Matthew Vaughn's excellent directing and the use of slowed-down and 360-degree images that would turn into a series signature. Though not as severe as the moments that follow, the pub fight wonderfully establishes the tone.
