Nobu Restaurant Caesars Palace
Nobu at Caesars Palace is the first restaurant in chef Nobu Matsuhisa's collection to open on the Las Vegas Strip; it is also the first to be located next to a Nobu Hotel and to offer teppanyaki tables and an in-room dining menu. The hostess, servers, and an army of sushi chefs will loudly proclaim "Irasshaimase", the Japanese greeting of welcome, upon entering from the casino or nearby elevators. Bamboo bowed columns, colorful semi-private dining pods, and oversize light fixtures inspired by Japanese tea whisks are among the design elements. There is a large bar as well as a smaller sushi bar, as well as round tables and booth seating. Some of the stunning tabletop items are made exclusively for Nobu restaurants.
You should begin your experience with a tartare of bluefin toro topped with Royal Ossetra caviar, or sashimi of yellowtail with jalapeo, cilantro, and garlic purée. Beef tenderloin with flamed saké, deglazed yuzu, caramelized onions, shiitake, and enokitake mushrooms is one of the toban-yaki options. The artichoke salad is a unique texture combination of shaved artichoke, crispy leeks, dry miso, and red bell pepper dressed in white truffle oil. A brick oven allows the signature dish to shine: marinated and broiled black cod miso that melts in your mouth. Japanese Wagyu beef is also available by the ounce.
Yellowtail, salmon, tuna, whitefish, and snow crab are wrapped in paper-thin daikon in the house special sushi roll. Take advantage of a selection of ten sakés imported exclusively for Nobu in the United States by Hokusetsu, as well as premium Japanese imported beers and whiskies. Among the trendy cocktails is the Peruvian Caipirinha, a nod to Nobu's South American roots. You should also try dessert in the bento box —- flourless chocolate cake with white chocolate sauce, shiso syrup, and green tea ice cream.
