This contemporary Japanese restaurant on The Cosmopolitan's third floor, created and co-founded by chef Rainer Becker, features an izakaya dining style with dishes designed for sharing. Organic materials are used as focal points, such as a natural stone wall, monkeypod tree trunks throughout, and a patchwork wall in the lounge made of brightly colored Japanese paper. A robata grill and sushi bar are visible in the dining room, where you can watch the chefs at work, and the two glass-enclosed private dining rooms offer views of the Vegas Strip.

In addition to wine and saké, more than 70 Japanese, Irish, and American whiskies are available, including the Japanese Suntory Hibiki Harmony, a blend of Yamazaki, Hakushu, and Chita malt and grain whiskies. From the sushi bar, try the sea bass with yuzu, truffle oil, and salmon roe, or the yellowtail with ponzu sauce and pickled garlic. Salmon fillet with teriyaki sauce and sliced pickled cucumber; jumbo tiger prawn with yuzu pepper served in its shell; and asparagus skewers with wafu sauce and sesame are all expertly prepared on the robata grill.

The miso-marinated black cod wrapped in hoba leaf with citrus wasabi dressing is a melt-in-your-mouth delight from the main kitchen, and the spicy beef tenderloin with sesame, red chili, and sweet soy is another excellent option. There are over 300 bottles of wine available, as well as about 100 sakés, including the Zuma Ginjo, which is made exclusively for the restaurant. Finish your meal with a flourless chocolate cake filled with melted caramel or a yuzu Key lime pie with strawberries and meringue will be a perfect choice.
