Other Mama, located in a nondescript strip mall, provides a welcoming atmosphere with a hardwood floor, hand-painted wall mural, an open kitchen, and wood tables and chairs. Fresh seafood arrives daily, and the seasonal menu includes oysters, sashimi, and Asian bar food. The specials, sashimi options, and where the seafood was sourced are all listed on a chalkboard. There are plenty of unexpected pairings, such as oyster Rockefeller with foie gras, caviar-topped french toast, a tostada with live ME lobster, habanero aioli, and cabbage, and octopus, shrimp, white fish, and habanero ceviche with sweet potato chips.

The Geraldine, with bourbon, grilled pineapple, house cherries, Burlesque Bitters, and togarashi, is another creative craft cocktail named after a woman. Eleven sakés, including Rihaku Wandering Poet Junmai Ginjo, are paired with 17 craft beers, many of which are hard-to-find treasures like Stillwater Tropic Punch Sour Ale. Desserts change nightly, and you will enjoy the chocolate walnut brownie with candied orange and rummed cherries during your visit. House-made ice cream in flavors such as Nutella and miso honey is also available at all times.
