North Pole Christian School
The last name on the list of best private high schools in Alaska is North Pole Christian School (NPCS). It was founded on the idea that academic achievement must be taught to children within the context of Biblical Christianity about 40 years ago.
Teachers at North Pole Christian School have received training in both academics and spiritual development concepts. Teachers, aides, and staff members are living examples of Jesus Christ to the pupils they encounter on a regular basis. Some of our NPCS students have stayed on as leaders in the community over the years. Some have enrolled in colleges to seek graduate and post-secondary education.
Saxon, Bob Jones, Abeka, and other organizations provide resources that North Pole Christian School uses. The NPCS General Operating Manual provides daily lesson plans that are followed by each teacher. Oral evaluations of students are conducted through classroom Q&A and gaming. When introducing new courses, NPCS's tried-and-true training ensures that there is enough review and repetition by correlating subjects both within and between grades.
Standards and procedures akin to ISO are used in the auditing of classrooms, instructors, and administrators. This guarantees that every member of the teaching and staff is operating at their highest potential and that students are given the best chance to advance their knowledge, comprehension, and wisdom.
