Okanagan Beach

Okanagan Beach has long been known as the region's most popular beach, and one of the most beatiful in Canada, attracting families for years. The beach at Penticton stretches out in a long, broad arc towards the southern end of Lake Okanagan.

In the summer, the lake water heats up well, and the soft sand and shallow entry into the water make it a fantastic area for little children to splash around. The massive floating Wibit Water Park is located just offshore from the beach. The Loco Landing Adventure Park is a short walk from the beach and offers go-karts, rope courses, rock climbing, and other exciting activities.

A large choice of hotels and motels are located just back from the beach and across the street. It's simple to roll out of bed in the morning and go for a walk along the beach thanks to their excellent position. You'll also find terrific restaurants nearby, many with patios, as well as a variety of wonderful retail establishments in downtown Penticton.
