À la carte dining is available at the modern Japanese eatery OMAKAI Sushi, which is situated at 2107 NW 2nd Ave. On November 15, 2019, the traditional sushi and hand roll restaurant OMAKAI opened its doors at 2107 NW 2nd Ave in Miami's Wynwood neighborhood. Diego and Pedro Quijada, Nicolas Sayavedra, Aaron Pate, and other individuals with backgrounds in the hospitality industry came together to open the restaurant with the only goal of providing authentic sushi to Miami. Three "leave it up to us" set menus, an omakase style dish that signifies "confidence in the chef," and an à la carte option are included on the menu. For seasoned sushi lovers who want to try other delectable fish and shellfish, there is also an à la carte option.
All devotees of traditional sushi will be able to indulge in hand rolls with crisp nori (seaweed) to give you the greatest bite every time, as well as "melt-in-your-mouth" body temperature rice topped with fresh soft-fish nigiris. 'LEAVE IT UP TO US' set menus (varying between $24 and $48) and à la carte section, which will take you on a journey that includes seasonal and chef-selected appetizers, nigiris, and hand rolls, are primarily focused on providing top-quality sushi at an affordable price.
