Paul McCartney

Sir James Paul McCartney CH MBE (born 18 June 1942) is an English singer, songwriter, musician, record and film producer who rose to prominence as the Beatles' co-lead vocalist, co-songwriter, and bassist. He is recognized for his lyrical approach to bass-playing, his diverse and broad tenor vocal range, and his musical eclecticism, exploring styles ranging from pre-rock 'n' roll pop to classical and electronica. He is one of the most successful writers and performers of all time. His songwriting collaboration with John Lennon is still the most successful in history.

Paul McCartney is a multi-instrumentalist who rose to prominence with The Beatles. He has written or co-authored 32 songs that have reached number one on the Billboard Hot 100, the majority of which were penned with bandmate John Lennon. His solo career, his band Wings, and his collaborations with Michael Jackson were all highlights of a tremendous career that continues to this day.
