Petros
Petros is a Greek word that means "rock" in a figurative sense. It reaches a height of 6,630 feet above sea level at its highest point. As a natural site, the mountain has been inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List. The ruins of an Alpine church built-in 1907 are the most notable monument on top of Petros Mountain. The area is popular with beginner mountaineers because the mountain is easy to climb. The first ascent is unrecorded.
Due to its height and good weather, the panorama of the mountains and scenery can be clearly seen. To the south-east, the Hoverla and Pip Ivan mountains can be seen, while to the west, the Apshinets Ridge's highest point can be seen. Tourists are drawn to the stunning scenery. In addition, tourists can also find hospitality in the nearby cities of Yersinia, Borsa, and Kolomya.
