Pip Ivan of Chornohora
Pip Ivan of Chornohora is part of the Carpathians ranges and stands at 6,634 feet above sea level, making it the country's third-highest peak. From 1918 until 1939, when Polish border troops launched an offensive and took control of the area, the mountain was a source of contention. At the summit of this mountain, the Polish government constructed an impressive astronomical and meteorological observatory center. The mountain was eventually returned to the Ukrainian government, and the observatory center was destroyed. This mountain is a popular tourist destination, particularly for nature lovers. There are a number of historical and architectural landmarks, as well as lovely alpine meadows and woods.
The Pip Ivan of Chornohora's temperatures are not particularly cold, with the lowest temperature ever recorded being 5 degrees. Cycling, riding, hiking, and rating are some of the most popular activities among visitors to the mountain.
