  3. Pip Ivan of Chornohora is part of the Carpathians ranges and stands at 6,634 feet above sea level, making it the country's third-highest peak. From 1918 until 1939, when Polish border troops launched an offensive and took control of the area, the mountain was a source of contention. At the summit of this mountain, the Polish government constructed an impressive astronomical and meteorological observatory center.     Petros is a Greek word that means "rock" in a figurative sense. It reaches a height of 6,630 feet above sea level at its highest point.
