Pico La Concha
Pico La Concha ranked third among the highest mountains in Venezuela, standing at 16,148 feet (about 4,922 metres). Pico La Concha is located in the Andes of Venezuela. It is part of the same mountain range as the summits described above. The first successful ascent of this mountain occurred in 1939. Pico La Garza was the name given to the summit since it was once home to the La Garza glacier. Unfortunately, the last time that glacier was seen was in 1972.
The PR-A 135 track from Istán to Pico de la Concha leads to Sierra Blanca's highest mountain, Pico de la Concha, which is part of the Sierra de las Nieves Natural Park.
The mountains of Sierra Nevada, Morocco, and a beautiful panoramic view of the Concepción Reservoir can be seen from the summit of La Concha.
