There isn't much shade on Plaja Agigea, so keep that in mind during the warmer months; nonetheless, all you have to do is remember to bring an umbrella, and you're good to go! This is also a fantastic alternative for families because the beach is vast and allows youngsters to run around in an uncluttered environment.
The advantage of visiting Plaja Agigea for a day excursion from Bucharest is that it is only approximately 2 hours away. The end of the highway is about 3.5 kilometers distant. It is thus Romania's closest Black Sea beach to Bucharest.
