  1. Plaja Vadu is a must-see beach for those who prefer their beaches to be relaxed, unspoilt, and as natural as possible. White dunes, azure sea that will fascinate you, and hopefully no clouds in the sky! The beach is surrounded by lush vegetation, with vibrantly colored poppy fields nearby. All of this screams Insta-worthy shots, with color contrast like you've never seen before.

This is a big, sweeping beach, so you'll never have to compete for space, but the reason is that it's not backed by a resort or a town, so you'll have to travel there. Please bring supplies for the day, but this is a great site for people looking to get away from the crowds and enjoy nature the way it was meant to be experienced.

  2. Plaja Gostinu is a little different from the other beaches on the list because it's not on the Black Sea; instead, it's on the banks of the famous Danube River. Apart from the lack of crowds, the advantage of visiting this beach is that it is relatively close to the capital, Bucharest, so you can simply take a city break and drive out for a few hours of sun and sand. In those busy days and need to relax, it's great that you can drive here and enjoy wonderful relaxing moments.

The beach isn't particularly wide, but it'll never be overcrowded, since most people prefer to head to the coast and enjoy the Black Sea beaches. They're losing out, though, because this is a wonderfully gorgeous and relaxing spot that's perfect for nature enthusiasts. If you're a bird watcher, bring your binoculars because there are plenty of places to see birds while taking a dip in the calm waters.

  3. Plaja Corbu is without a doubt one of Romania's most popular beaches, but that doesn't mean it's crowded! Plaja Corbu is a beach frequented by locals, although tourists prefer to visit the nearby beaches, owing to its status as a hidden gem. As a result, you'll be able to enjoy some peace and quiet while admiring the scenery.

If you're a fan of marine life, the waters surrounding here are teeming with brightly colored fish, and snorkeling with great visibility is easy to come by. Swimming is safe, and the beach is very wide, so there's plenty of room for kids to run around and expend some energy. When you've had your fill of the beach (impossible), go for a walk and explore the nearby ruins.

  4. On the Black Sea coast of Romania, Sfantu Gheorghe offers one of the best and largest beaches. It spans about 30 kilometers, all the way to the north, to the Sulina beach. It's untamed and largely unaffected by man. It's fantastic for strolling, but you can also take the Trocarici (a local public transportation system) to get there quicker.

It's about 1.5 kilometers east of the fishing village, and you'll have to go along a lovely sandy road to get there. The beach, on the other hand, is perfect for unwinding while also watching nature. Because the Danube flows into the sea right around the corner, the water is usually sweet rather than salty. You might even get a chance to view the wild horses grazing around if you're lucky; ask the locals for further information as they are very friendly. The adjacent town is also incredibly gorgeous and full of natural beauty, so after you've spent some time on the sand and taken a dip in the ocean, you may go exploring! For animal enthusiasts, this is a must-see!

  5. Mamaia is Romania's largest and most well-known resort, with one of the country's most stunning beaches. The Mamaia resort boasted one of Europe's most expansive beaches. It runs for over 10 kilometers between the cities of Constanta and Navodari, and its width surpasses 200 meters at times.

This incredible Romanian beach is covered in fine sand, free of stones and shells, and the water's entrance is smooth, with the sea's depth gradually increasing over a long distance. A big portion of the beach is set aside for tourists to rent sunbeds and umbrellas for a charge, but there are also spots where they can leave their towel for free.

There are lifeguards, first aid tents, restrooms, and selective garbage collection locations on this Romanian beach for the safety, protection, and comfort of the tourists.

The resort's beach is lined with beach bars, terraces, and beach clubs, all of which are ideal places to escape the summer heat with a cocktail or an iced coffee, or to party till morning. Mamaia is often regarded as Romania's most opulent summer resort. If you're on a budget, avoid Mamaia Beach because the prices for lodging and food are quite exorbitant.

  6. This is yet another must-see for snorkelers, as the visibility is excellent and the marine life is abundant. The beach has a laid-back attitude, and if you like seafood, Agigea village boasts some of the best in the country!

There isn't much shade on Plaja Agigea, so keep that in mind during the warmer months; nonetheless, all you have to do is remember to bring an umbrella, and you're good to go! This is also a fantastic alternative for families because the beach is vast and allows youngsters to run around in an uncluttered environment.

The advantage of visiting Plaja Agigea for a day excursion from Bucharest is that it is only approximately 2 hours away. The end of the highway is about 3.5 kilometers distant. It is thus Romania's closest Black Sea beach to Bucharest.

  7. The beach at Eforie Nord is the second-largest of all the Romanian beaches along the Black Sea coast. The resort is open all year because of its blend of recreational tourism and healthcare. Eforie Nord is about 12 kilometers from Constanta, on the road that connects the cities of Mangalia and Constanta. It is accessible by train, bus, and vehicle.

The Eforie Nord Resort has a large opening to the sea and a sea wall that reaches 30 meters in height. This Romanian beach stretches for around 4 kilometers and has a width of 20 to 100 meters. The cliff rises in the northern portion of the beach, making it an ideal spot for a stroll.

The sea wall and the beach are connected by a flight of stairs. The beach is bigger and easier to access in the resort's southern section. The approach to the water is smooth along the Eforie Sud sand strip, one of Romania's most beautiful beaches, and the sand has a larger granulation than Mamaia and Constanta. Sunbeds, umbrellas, and beach bars are available on a portion of the beach.

  9. Costinesti is one of the most popular beaches among Romania's youthful generation. If you want to go to numerous parties and meet new people, this is the place to go.

The Romanian beach from Costinesti is approximately 1 kilometer long and is divided into paid and free areas. A large sea wall protects the beach on the north side of the resort, which stretches all the way up to Tuzla Cape, while a rocky section protects the beach on the south side.

Costinesti is one of the resorts that has gone through a lot of changes in recent years. One of Romania's most prominent beaches has been modernized with European finds and now looks fantastic. This location has a lifeguard service to keep an eye on you, as well as pubs and restaurants scattered around the beach. The resort's most famous clubs include Ring, Tineretului, and Panoramic Club, where you may dance all night.

There is an old wreckage dating from 1968 in the shallow seas of Costinesti, which is a great spot for photography if you're in the vicinity.

  10. Tulcea is 50 kilometers away from this lovely Romanian coastline. From Bucharest, you can drive to Tulcea and then board the boat from there. There are two sorts of boats to choose from: private and public. The public boat runs three times a day and takes about an hour and a half to complete the journey; the boat departs from Tulcea at specific times. There's also the private transfer, which is significantly more expensive but much faster (just 15 minutes), with three boats available each day.

The beach itself is breathtaking, with the delta behind you, a plethora of fauna (particularly birds) close, as well as golden beaches and a great surf. There are reed umbrellas and sun chairs on the beach where you may get some shade from the scorching summer sun. There is only one resort in the region that offers a wide selection of housing options as well as a beach bar where you can purchase drinks and snacks.

Everything is wild and untamed around you; you can hear birds singing and sea waves crashing on the shore. This Romanian beach is one of the most beautiful and tranquil in the country, and it offers a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to reconnect with nature.
