Pura Tanah Lot

One of Bali's most renowned temples is Pura Tanah Lot, which is located about 20 kilometers northwest of Kuta. A wow factor is its stunning coastal location on a rocky islet surrounded by crashing waves.

It is one of the most renowned sea temples on the island for the Balinese people. Every evening, throngs of tourists from Kuta, Legian, and Sanur walk-in lanes lined with souvenir vendors in order to see the sun set behind the temple. Even though no temple in the complex is open to visitors from outside of Asia, you can walk across to the main temple at low tide. It's enjoyable to stroll the walkways while snapping pictures and admiring the breathtaking scenery. You may wander from Tanah Lot to the beautiful Batu Bolong, another sea temple set on a rock outcrop, along pathways with tropical landscaping.
