The Renault – Nissan – Mitsubishi Alliance is a French – Japanese strategic partnership involving the carmakers Renault (Boulogne – Billancourt, France), Nissan (Yokohama, Japan), and Mitsubishi Motors (Tokyo, Japan). With more than 700,000 electric vehicles sold from 2009 to the end of 2018, this alliance is one of the global leaders in the electric vehicles field.
Since its debut in 2010, the Nissan LEAF has sold over 409,000 units worldwide. The Nissan Leaf and the Renault Zoe all-electric cars are the company's best-selling EVs. From 2012 to the end of 2018, 133,636 Renault ZOE were sold in the world. By 2022, Groupe Renault plans to provide a total of 12 electrified and 8 all-electric vehicles.
