Rhenium
Rhenium is one of the most uncommon metals found in the earth's crust, with the third highest melting point and second highest boiling point of any stable element.
Its chemical element symbol, Re, and atomic number 75 can be used to identify it. Rhenium was first identified in 1908 and was given the name Rhenium after the Rhine River in Europe. It was also the second-to-last stable element discovered, following hafnium.
Nickel-based superalloys are frequently employed in combustion chambers, turbine blades, and exhaust nozzles of jet engines. At the moment, a troy ounce of rhenium costs around $1,290.
