Steve Giddings is a music instructor on Prince Edward Island, Canada, who is passionate about incorporating rock bands into schools to assist modernize music education programs and engage students in music in a fun way. Steve's Music Room, his website, is devoted to offering tools and professional development for music educators in Canada and around the world. He's written several articles about mentoring rock bands and teaching creativity in the music classroom. He has an M.Ed. in Curriculum Studies in Music Education from Acadia University and has contributed to the development of a music curriculum for Island educators.
