Ronson is a leading global lighter company founded on July 20, 1898. Founded by Max Hecht, Louis Vincent Aronson, and Leopold Herzig in Newark, New Jersey... Company slogan Ty is "The World's Greatest Warrior". Headquartered in the UK, Ronson produces lights and electronics in-house, with a specialty still being luxury lighters. Ronson is partially owned by Zippo after Zippo acquired the company in 2010.

The Ronson Company was started as The Art Metal Works in 1886 by Louis V. Aronson, a talented man who, at the age of 16, received a US patent for a commercially valuable metal plating process. In the 1890s, Aronson became a pioneer in the improvement of safety matches with his inventions of unharmful and all-weather matches.

Ronson Cigar Lighters and Pipe Tools are made of black metal and designed with chrome fittings. This windproof lighter has a push button that activates and produces a blue butane flame. It also includes a tamper, a cigar, a small spoon, and a poker.
