Sachin Tendulkar
Sachin Ramesh Tendulkar (born April 24, 1973) is a former Indian international cricketer and former captain of the Indian cricket team. He is regarded as one of cricket's best batman and the all-time leading scorer in international cricket.
Tendulkar, who began playing cricket at the age of 11, made his test debut against Pakistan in Karachi on November 15, 1989, at the age of 16, and went on to represent Mumbai in the domestic league as well as the Indian national squad in the event. For almost 24 years, I've been working on a global scale. He is the first player in international cricket history to score over 30,000 runs.
Sachin Tendulkar made history in 2001 by being the first batter to reach 10,000 ODI runs in 259 innings. He was named the second best test cricket batsman in history, behind only Don Bradman, and the second greatest ODI batsman in history, behind only Vivi Richards, by Almanack of Wisden Cricketer in 2002, midway through his career. Tendulkar won the cricket World Cup with India in 2011, his first success in six World Cup appearances with the country. He had previously been named "Player of the Tournament" at the 2003 World Cup, which was held in South Africa. On the 150th anniversary of Wisden Cricketer's Almanack in 2013, he was the only Indian to play Test cricket for the World XI.
