SAMSUNG
The performance of Samsung's new Galaxy S21 series will be highly pleasing to the company. It started the second quarter of 2021 strongly after good sales in Europe in the first quarter. Many European customers are very interested in the Galaxy S21 Ultra. Older mid-range smartphones like the Samsung Galaxy A50 and Galaxy A20, on the other hand, had a big influence.
New gadget releases from most major suppliers aided the market as they competed for market share abandoned by Huawei. Samsung was the big winner, reclaiming first place from Apple (although Apple is still the clear leader in France, Germany, and the UK).
Samsung, on the other hand, had a growth rate of 80 percent year over year. However, among the top five smartphone suppliers in Europe, this is the lowest year-over-year rise. Given that everyone had a bad year in 2020, Samsung may not be pleased with a growth rate of 80% year over year.
Around 1.35 billion mobile phones were sold in 2020, with Samsung topping yearly sales with over 253 million devices sold, accounting for 18.8% of the market. With its current European performance, the firm is on track to gain market share this year.
