Savai’i
Savai’i is the next island on the list of the most beautiful islands in Samoa that Toplist would like to introduce to you. Savai'i is a place where the locals enjoy a traditional way of life and is well-known for its laid-back attitude and slower pace, which is unsurprising for a sparsely populated island of around 43,000 people. Despite this, Savai'i is slightly larger than Upolu, measuring 80 kilometers long and 40 kilometers wide, making a trip to Savai'i a great way to truly disconnect and immerse yourself in Polynesian culture.
The volcanic peak of Mount Silisili, which towers over 6,000 feet above sea level, the Saleaula lava fields, and their dramatic waterfalls, caves, and blowholes, are some of the top sights and activities on Savai'i island, beyond the gateway town of Salelologa, where you will arrive by ferry from Upolu. While no part of Samoa is ever overcrowded, you will have no trouble finding your own little piece of paradise on Savai'i. The island has boutique hotels and a plethora of beautiful, secluded beaches where you can go snorkeling, swimming, diving, or just relax.
