If you're still unsure about why you should visit Morocco, the sensory experience is a fantastic reason in and of itself. Morocco is a real sensory roller coaster. Everywhere you walk, your mind is cluttered by so many different hues, odors, and sounds. Since you'll discover greater solitude and tranquility when you visit more remote locations of Morocco, this is particularly true for the cities and larger towns. However, the constant turmoil in the city, particularly in the Medinas (walled labyrinths of streets that frequently include courtyards and street marketplaces), might overwhelm you.

Your worldview will be interrupted by enormous mountains of vivid powdered dye, vibrantly decorated pots, and donkeys pulling carts full of watermelons. Locals can be heard yelling at one another in Arabic at the same time, and there may even be some catchy Moroccan music playing in the background. Rich spices, sweet pastries, a tagine roasting on smoldering charcoals, and the potent fragrance of leather from a nearby tannery will all be there. Morocco is a very colorful and fascinating country, and it never gets dull.
