Seven Wells Waterfalls
The Seven Wells Waterfall, or Jalan Telaga Tujuh as it is known locally, is one of the island's most stunning natural attractions and is only a 20-minute walk from the famed Langkawi Sky Bridge. Both tourists and locals enjoy visiting the waterfall, which cascades from Mount Mat Cincang, Langkawi's second-highest mountain. Only a small portion of the 91-meter-long steep drop is visible from the base.
The name refers to a grouping of seven interconnected natural lakes that Mount Cincang's seven different waterfalls feed. The Seven Wells Waterfalls are renowned for the challenging climb through a number of the site's trails to the top. The view is breathtaking from the peak. The breathtaking location is decorated with exceptional flora, including Sintuk, which is also used in ancient Malay rites, and unusual lime plants. A great variety of species can also be seen here, including gigantic cream-colored squirrels, hornbills (the most distinctive bird in Malaysia), and long-tailed macaque monkeys.
Visitors at Telaga Tujuh Waterfalls have the chance to hike up the tall waterfall and take in the breathtaking views of Burau Bay, Pantai Kok, and the seven distinct levels of waterfalls. This is one of the most beautiful waterfalls in Malaysia.
