Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque
Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque is one of the best places to visit in Abu Dhabi. As you go into Abu Dhabi's Sheikh Zayed Great Mosque, you'll realize why it's so extraordinary. Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, the UAE's Founding Father, envisioned the mosque, which is one of the world's largest. Even the building process was a cultural partnership. The majestic building was designed and built by expert teams from throughout the world, including 1,300 Iranian artisans who hand-knotted the world's largest carpet in the main prayer hall. You'll encounter one-of-a-kind gems like gold-plated Swarovski chandeliers, the courtyard's massive marble mosaic artwork, and reflected ponds that mirror some of the numerous amethyst-and-jasper-embedded columns as you go through the marbled halls. Look up while you're outdoors to see the mosque's four beautiful minarets, which tower proudly at 106 meters.

Transportation
- Board a bus from Saif Ghobash Street and reach Sultan Bin Zayed Street. From there, you can take another bus to the mosque.
- Board another bus from the Emirates Palace Hotel and it stops at Zayed 1st Street. From there, you can walk for about 4 minutes to the mosque.
