Shere Hills

The Shere hills are a collection of wavy hills and rocky formations in Jos, Plateau state. It is about ten kilometers from Jos, which is located in Nigeria's middle belt. The hill has many peaks, with the highest peak reaching a height of 1,829 meters above sea level.

The Gog and Magog, the highest points of this hill, are located close to the mountain school known as the Citizenship and Leadership Training Center, where students learn about leadership and military adventures.

The hill's formation is incredible. Layers stand on top of one another in some places, and they have been there since the Shere hill was discovered. Something intriguing about the host community is that both young and old people enjoy climbing the mountain, and you can see them climbing up to its peak with little or no stress.
