Singapore General Hospital
Singapore General Hospital (SGH) is a tertiary referral hospital in Singapore, located right next to Bukit Merah and Chinatown. It is served by Outram Park MRT Station. This is the largest and oldest hospital in Singapore, built a long time ago, in 1821
SGH has introduced interventional oncology (IO) treatments since the late 1980s, and this outstanding approach has benefited many cancer patients as it is minimally invasive. Patients will experience less pain and fewer complications and promote faster recovery than previous methods.
Many of these methods are now available to cancer patients and can sometimes be used in combination with other treatments for better results.
