Sisters Island Marine Park
Top 3 in Top 4 Best Dive Sites in Singapore
The Sisters' Islands Marine Park, which will cover approximately 40 hectares around the Sisters' Islands as well as the western reefs of both St John's Island and Pulau Tekukor, will serve as a platform for outreach, educational, conservation, and research activities relating to our native marine biodiversity. The location was chosen because of its diverse habitats, which include coral reefs, sandy coasts, and seagrass meadows.
Two different trails of varying depths have been developed to highlight the diversity of marine species and unique structures found in Singapore's waters. The shallow route is around 100m long and will take divers around a loop to a maximum depth of 6m. The deep track has a maximum depth of 15 meters. This marine park, which was recently opened to the public, is home to a diverse array of sea life and fish species such as parrotfish, clownfish, harlequin fish, eels, and turtles. Regular diving sessions are organized by the National Parks Board here. The spooky Iran Sarai wreck can also be seen 18 meters underwater off the coast of Sisters Island.
