STAYC

STAYC is a six-member girl group under High Up Entertainment. The name group means Star To A Young Culture, "reflects the act's aim of dominating pop culture".

Famous music producers Black Eyed Pilseung, who also founded High Up Entertainment, are behind the group's production. The group made their debut with the self-titled single album "Star To A Young Culture", which includes two songs "Like This" and lead single "So Bad". The music video for the album's lead single, "So Bad" was released on November 12 and attracted over 2.6 million views on its first day. Their album was released on the same day and went on to sell more than 4,300 copies, which is a record for a girl group's debut in 2020. It went on to sell more than 10,000 copies in its first week, making history as the first girl group debut album to do so in 2020.
