Treasure

Treasure is a South Korean–Japanese boy band that was created in 2019 by YG Entertainment through the reality-survival program YG Treasure Box (2018).

The First Step: Chapter One, the first release in The First Step series, marked Treasure's debut on August 7, 2020. Over 170,000 pre-orders were made before the physical release on August 13 by several days. In Japan, "Boy," the album's lead track, achieved commercial success, topping music-streaming services such as Line Music, Rakuten, and the AWA rising chart. The "Boy" music video received more than 10 million views on YouTube in just 26 hours, 20 million views in six days, and finally 100 million views. The Korea Music Content Association (KMCA) awarded the group platinum certification for the single album, the group's first ever certification.
