Talleyrand
The Talleyrand, which opened in 1976, was Asunción's first architectural complex designed particularly for a restaurant. The addition of private salons to the premises was also a novel concept at the time, demonstrating Talleyrand's pioneering spirit. The restaurant's name may strike a bell for anyone familiar with French history, as it was named after Charles-Maurice de Talleyrand-Périgord, a French diplomat who played a major role during the French Revolution.
The restaurant specializes in French bistro cuisine, but it also provides Mediterranean fare and luscious meats such pork tenderloin with apple chutney, honey, and ginger, or Café Paris tournedos with almonds and 14 herbs. Talleyrand is a piece of old heritage served with a modern French twist, with colonial-style decor, low beams, and tapestry chairs.
Good food, gourmet innovation, and superb service are all hallmarks of Talleyrand. The combination of these factors results in one-of-a-kind and unforgettable experiences. Whether you go to a restaurant for a meal, a business meeting, or to one of our event venues to arrange or attend a one-of-a-kind event. Enjoying Talleyrand is a chance to build a fresh positive memory; our Talleyrand secret is to stay in touch with the renewed and always inspirational tradition while looking forward.
